Torontonians can begin repping Toronto Tempo after it dropped its official merchandise, however fans are divided over its price and design.
On Tuesday, Canada’s first WNBA team released its merchandise which includes everything from hoodies, beanies, jackets, baby wear and more.
The pieces feature the team’s recently released logos, wordmarks, and the brand’s colours, Hydrogen Blue and Bordeaux. Toronto Tempo also partnered with multiple Canadian retailers such as Homage, New Era, Nike, Peace Collective, Playa Society, Roots, and Round21.
The wait is over! The Tempo Collection has officially dropped.

“When can I get my hands on merch?’ is, without a doubt, the most-asked question we’ve had since we announced the launch of this team,” Toronto Tempo Chief Marketing Officer Whitney Bell said in a statement.
“We’re so thrilled to finally be giving our community the chance to wear their support for the Tempo proudly,” she continued.

Following the drop, many online users took to social media to share their thoughts.
“The Tempo merch drop goes harrrrrrrrrd! So many brands. So many styles,” one X user said.
“It’s all soo good,” another user said.
“Sooooo tough!!!” another user commented.
Meanwhile, other users are not a fan of the price, design or lack of options for women.
“Bummer. Really wanted to support but I’m not spending $40-$60 on a t- shirt for a team with no players,” one X user said.
“Guys, the team name, logo, and colours are horrendous. And they are not reflective in any way of the vibrant culture of Toronto. It’s not too late to change! We are begging you,” another user said.
“I’m a little disappointed….for a women’s team and most of the merch is unisex which doesn’t fit all women especially ones with hips like me,” another user commented.
The team’s merchandise is open and available now on its online store for purchase. Additionally, fans can get their hands on merchandise at Makeway, NBAstore.ca, Sport Chek, and Real Sports.
Additional gear is expected to be added to the collection throughout the year, including the team’s official jersey which will be released closer to the team’s first game.
The Tempo will begin playing at Coca-Cola Coliseum in 2026.
