With Halloween celebrations coming to an end, the Holiday season is about to begin, and there are plenty of ways to enjoy its nostalgic and magical vibes in Toronto. 

Winter time’s favourite singer Mariah Carey has declared that “it’s time,” and to celebrate the sparkly season, we’ve compiled a list of the best Holiday-themed bars you can’t miss in the city. 

Papi Chulo’s 

Address: 121 Ossington Ave.

One of Ossington’s favourites for delicious tacos and drinks, Papi Chulo’s is bringing the Holiday magic to life for the fifth time with its annual Mistletoes & Margaritas pop-up. The event brings Holiday-inspired decor, Santa Claus-approved cocktails, and delicious bites. Sip on festive drinks like the Mistletoe Margarita or Smore’s the Merrier, while tasting some authentic tacos and sharables, visit the Xmas Pop-up website

Miracle Toronto

Address: 875 Bloor St. W.; 235 Queens Quay W. 

This bar has been a must-visit Toronto Holiday tradition since 2018, combining nostalgic and cozy vibes with themed cocktails and kitschy decor. This year, this beloved Holiday pop-up is gaining a second location in addition to its staple 19+ spot at 875 Bloor St., taking over Toronto’s Harbourfront for yet another Holiday experience for all ages. Aleria

Aleria is already known for having some of the best Greek food in Toronto, with late-night bites, a lively atmosphere with DJ beats and patio nights, and its energy becomes even more electric with its Christmas on Queen pop-up. Little Ese

With cozy vibes all year long, Little Ese is a local favourite for comfort food and a casual night out, and with winter coming up, this bar is about to also become a Holiday destination. In addition to comfort bites like poutine, nachos, and pizza, Little Ese’s Naughty Nutcracker pop-up is also bringing themed drinks, including the Naughty But Nice Pitcher, Santa’s Night Cap, XXXmas Shooter, and more. Papi & Rosita

Part of Ossington’s popular nightlife, Papi & Rosita serve delicious shareables, sandwiches and quesadillas with vibrant night-out vibes, filled with a fun atmosphere, creative drinks and lively music. This winter, this spot is transforming into a vibrant Frosty’s Fiesta, with a Holiday-themed pop-up opening up on Nov. 8. 

Tipsy Reindeer

Limited-time bar Tipsy Reindeer is coming to a new location this Holiday season, bringing the magical Holiday feel to downtown Toronto. Step into a Holiday-themed atmosphere, and soak in the cozy vibes, while sipping on delicious handcrafted cocktails. This pop-up is only open to guests 19+, and more information will be announced at the Tipsy Reindeer’s website closer to the Holidays. 

Compton Ave. 

Address: 1282 Dundas St. W.

This delicious cocktails’ spot promises to transport attendees to London’s popular Compton Ave., without leaving Toronto. Using original recipes with an in-house twist, this bar makes unparalleled craft cocktails that tell a story, accompanied by English-inspired bites. From Nov. 12 to Dec. 31, the venue is bringing in the England Holiday experience to the city, with Holiday-themed decor, music and cocktails!

Little Sister 

Address: 2031 Yonge St.

Celebrating the diversity of Indonesian cuisine, Little Sister food bar features homemade spice blends and special imported ingredients, which give its signature dishes a unique and delicious flavour. For the 5th year, this spot is celebrating the Holidays with its Java Jingle Holiday Bar from Nov. 15 to Dec. 31, with Holiday-feel decorations and themed drinks.
