Your day doesn’t make ‘sense’ without tea. Sense Maker, a new Chinese tea spot, is opening in Toronto and offering limited-time deals.

For the grand opening on Jan. 17 and 18, between 11 a.m. and 10 p.m., Sense Maker has a buy-one-get-one-free deal, and the first 60 people to leave a Google review will receive a limited-edition opening day fridge magnet (while supplies last)

Located in the Church-Wellesley area at 595 Yonge St., this is Sense Maker’s first Canadian location.

Sense Maker has roots in hundreds of locations across China and is known for its high-quality Mengku tea leaves.

They’re popular for their lemon tea, and craft every beverage using Bergamot Lemon – paired with seven curated tea bases.

Sense Maker offers three drinks from its signature handmade lemon tea, including Tieguanyin, sticky rice-scented, and bergamot lemon water.

They also offer some fresh fruit lemon tea with chestnut coconut, wild mulberry, or tamarind. If lemons aren’t your thing, they have a variety of milk tea in either hot or cold format.

The cafe follows “Zhi Cha,” a continuous exploration of the infinite possibilities as a medium.

Hoping to deliver a refined tea experience, each ingredient undergoes multiple steps to select it, including verifying its origin and assessing its aroma, colour, and leaf condition.
