One of the world’s biggest LGBTQ2S+ celebrations in Toronto has announced its 2023 festival line-up.

Pride Toronto returns for its 42nd commemoration and will illuminate downtown streets leading to the Church and Wellesley village from June 23-25.

Powered by TD, the annual festival themed “here, there, everywhere” opens with American rapper Saucy Santana on Friday, alongside Canadian singer-songwriter Rêve, Vietnamese American drag queen Plastique Tiara, and other special guests.

On June 24, Sasha Colby from season 15 of RuPaul’s Drag Race and Anetra will headline, with added performances from Pamputtae, Amanda Rheaume, Jimbo and Landon Cider.

To bring this year’s festivities to a close, Lights will take the stage on June 25, with Nadia Batson, Devon Cole, Trinity K. Bonet.

The Pride Parade, the inclusive experience for all to celebrate diversity, will be held on June 25 at 2 p.m.

This year, the parade takes a more sustainable approach asking contingents, sponsors, partners and community members to consider marching instead of using vehicles and floats, with the goal of eventually hosting a zero-waste Pride festival in the coming years.
