Taste of Lawrence, presented by TD, is returning to Scarborough next month for three days of unforgettable fun and a mix of flavours from around the world!

It’s no secret that Torontonians love a good street festival during the summer. And the best ones are filled with delicious food, live performances, local finds, cultural celebrations, and lots of community-building.

Well, if you are looking for one of the city’s biggest and best festivals of July, here you have it! The Taste of Lawrence is back at the Wexford Heights BIA from July 4-6 for non-stop entertainment and many delicious bites.

Founded by Councillor Michael Thompson, Scarborough’s biggest street festival is bringing in more than 150 street vendors with flavours from across all four corners of the world in a real global tour that has something for every foodie. There is also lots to see, as the festival’s two stages will be filled with three days of cultural and music performances, featuring some of the city’s and nation’s best talent.

And that’s not all. Attendees will also have the opportunity to jump into a pile of endless fun with activities such as a talent show, Ultimutts Stunt Dog Show, an exotic car display, midway rides and interactive kids’ workshops.

On day two of the festival, local emerging artists will have a chance to take over the stage and show off their talents at The Taste of Lawrence Rising Stars contest. Cheer for your favourite finalists while they sing, dance and amaze the public with unique abilities to have a shot at taking home a grand prize!

The unforgettable party will take place at 2086 Lawrence Ave. E. between Warden Ave. and Birchmount Rd. on July 4 from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m., July 5 from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., and July 6 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Visit this link for more information and don’t miss out on the fun!
