There’s a new immersive experience in Toronto that’s taking bubbles to a whole new level.

For the first time ever, Bubble Planet is making its Canadian debut and opening its doors in Toronto. The attraction showcases a whimsical world full of interactive rooms, illusions, and of course, tons of life-sized bubbles for everyone to enjoy.

Co-founder and CEO Hamza El Azhar says the experience is inspired by his friend who died a couple of months ago and wished to bring the event to the city.

“Bubble Planet, it’s an immersive experience that can be enjoyed from two years old to 75 years old. You can enjoy it with family, or you can enjoy it with friends, like even me as an older person. I love it and I can enjoy it with my friend and be like a kid,” he said in an interview with Now Toronto on Wednesday.

“…We see now, children just running from one side to the other, and they are so happy to be here, like I heard them saying, it’s the most beautiful experience that they have done. We are very happy to be here, and I’m really excited and very happy to hear that from the visitors,” he continued.

When visitors walk in, they’ll first be greeted by bouncy colourful bubbles hanging from the ceiling that are shaped like tall glow sticks.

With each room, the activity only gets better and increasingly impressive. The next room is the LED room which has an underwater theme, perfect for kids who are a fan of the sea. Each step one takes sparks an interaction on the floor.

After this, visitors can take a dip into the bubble ocean where they’ll be met with large balloon-inspired bubbles encapsulating them.

However, the most popular place amongst the entire experience has to be the famous bubble bath pit, endlessly filled with bubble-balls where people can completely immerse themselves in.

El Azhar says this is definitely one of the stand-out highlights at Bubble Planet.

“The bubble ball pit, it’s one of the favourites for people to stay. There is also the infinity room. That is an amazing experience that people love and the bubble ocean as well. For me, it’s those three different rooms that people really enjoy,” he said.

Moving forward, visitors can also embark on a hot air balloon flight simulator that is both realistic and a feast for the eyes.

And if that’s not enough, there’s an infinity room where people can be mesmerized by its vibrant lights and mirrored walls and VR headsets where guests can be taken to another fantastical universe.

Last but not least, to capture the memory, visitors can take photos in the selfie room where they can pose inside a bubble itself or lay in a bathtub surrounded by rubber duckies.

Bubble Planet: An Immersive Experience is open until January 2025 at 30 Hanover Road. Tickets are $33.90 for adults, $25.90 for children, and $29.90 for seniors and students.
