Summertime is all about getting out, staying out, soaking up the sun and eating everything your tummy can take at a street festival – this weekend, you can do all of that and more at the Taste of Little Italy.

Whether you’re looking to indulge in to-die-for eats, enjoy the sweet sounds of live music, or bask in the energetic atmosphere, there’s something for everyone this weekend.

Toronto’s long-cherished festival is returning to the Little Italy area from Friday, June 13 to Sunday, June 15, transforming College St. into a dynamic celebration steeped in cuisine, culture, community, and all things Italian.

WHERE IS IT?

The annual festival will take over College between Bathurst and Shaw streets, inviting foodies and festivalgoers to enjoy more than 200 unique vendors eager to serve their best eats and offers over the festivals’ three-day run.

This year, attendees can expect to chow down on classics from local favourites, including Bear Steak Sandwiches, Café Diplomatico, Bella Vista, and Riviera Bakery, among others.

But the food isn’t the only draw.

WHAT’S HAPPENING AT THE FESTIVAL?

The festival will also feature a new main stage, located at College and Shaw, acting as a hub for live entertainment over the festival’s weekend run. While at the big stage, attendees can check out live cooking demonstrations, live DJ sets, pasta competitions, and an appearance from American Idol Season 20 finalist Nicolina Bozzo.

This year, the festival will also have a delicious lineup of food trucks for attendees to check out, along with performances at Palmerston, carnival rides, extended patio hours, and street performances located throughout the festivals’ walking grounds.
