Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour is coming to the big screens

Swifties, get ready! You’ll soon have another Taylor Swift occasion you’ll fight to score tickets for. 

Cineplex has confirmed that the Taylor Swift Eras Tour concert film is officially hitting the big screens beginning on Oct.13. 

In a news release Thursday, the entertainment and media company announced that Swift’s theatrical concert film will be showcased to Canadians in over 150 Cineplex theatres across the country. 

According to Cineplex, Swift’s Eras Tour concert film garnered over three million fans during the first leg of its United States run.

With anticipation running high for the American singer’s Canadian concert in 2024, this is the perfect time for Canadian Swifties to practice their vocals and prepare for the concert. 

“Canadians can immerse themselves in this once-in-a-lifetime concert film experience with a breathtaking, cinematic view of the history-making tour. Taylor Swift Eras attire and friendship bracelets are strongly encouraged!” Cineplex said in a statement. 

The Taylor Swift concert film will play on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays at Cineplex theatre locations in Canada. It will be available in VIP Cinemas, IMAX, and UltraAVX. 

Tickets are $19.89 for adults and $13.13 for children and seniors.
