Foo Fighters

Seattle rock legends Foo Fighters are returning to Toronto for the first time in six years on the Take Cover Tour to support their twelfth studio album, Your Favorite Toy, which was released in April of this year. Originally founded as a one man project by former Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl in the 90s, Foo Fighters has since become one of the world’s most prolific rock bands with 11 Grammy Awards and an induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. For fans who have always wanted to see the band’s return to the city, tickets are still available starting at $93.75 for their show at Rogers Stadium.
Olivia Dean
- When: Aug. 4 and 5
- Where: Scotiabank Arena
British singer-songwriter Olivia Dean is continuing her wildly successful year with a concert tour that will be stopping in Toronto Tuesday night. She will be bringing her neo-soul and jazz pop chops to Scotiabank Theatre on her The Art of Loving tour in support of her album with the same name. So far in 2026, Dean has won the Grammy for Best New Artist, multiple Brit Awards, and has seen two singles — “Man I Need” and “So Easy (To Fall in Love)” top the Billboard Hot 100. Her Tuesday and Wednesday shows at Scotiabank Arena are completely sold out.
5 Seconds of Summer

Dubbed as one of the most successful Australian musical acts in history, 5 Seconds of Summer (or 5SOS) will be taking their brand of boyband pop to RBC Amphitheatre on Wednesday evening. Despite first blowing up 12 years ago with their single, “She Looks So Perfect,” the band has kept the momentum going through five albums and over a dozen tours. The band’s latest album, Everyone’s a Star!, peaked at number six on the Billboard 200. Verified resale tickets for the 5SOS’ show at RBC Amphitheatre are still available for $109.32.
Avenged Sevenfold and Good Charlotte

Heavy metal and pop-punk fans are banding together for Avenged Sevenfold and Good Charlotte’s joint headlining tour at RBC Amphitheatre on Thursday. First collaborating on Good Charlotte’s 2007 single “The River,” the two bands have stayed friends over the past two decades.
Avenged Sevenfold have sold eight million albums worldwide and have been named by several magazines as one of the best metal bands of all time. Good Charlotte was one of the most popular pop-punk bands in the 2000s, spawning chart-topping singles such as, “Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous,” “The Anthem,” and “Girls and Boys.”

Metric and Broken Social Scene

Canadian indie rock mainstays Metric and Broken Social Scene are banding together for another double-headlining tour this Friday. Titled All the Feelings Tour, both bands are supporting their respective 2026 albums. Metric released Romanticize the Dive in April and Broken Social Scene released their first album, Remember the Humans, in nearly 10 years this May. Emily Haines and James Shaw of Metric have also frequently collaborated with Broken Social Scene, sometimes joining them on stage. Rush

Toronto legendary rock band Rush is going back on tour for the first time in 11 years. They’ll be playing Scotiabank Arena Friday and Sunday night on the Fifty Something tour — which follows their last tour celebrating 40 years as a band. Featuring famed bassist, guitarist, and vocalist Geddy Lee, Rush is basically a national treasure. The band has sold 26 million albums, won 10 Juno Awards, was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame in 1994, and later to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2013. Based on their recent touring record, Rush might not tour again for another 10 years, so get your tickets now! American Football

American midwest emo band American Football is performing in Toronto for the first time in seven years in support of their self-titled fourth album, LP4. Their last show in the city was at The Opera House in 2019. American Football is most remembered for their 1999 debut self-titled album LP1 featuring the iconic “American Football house,” which the band purchased in 2023. “Never Meant,” the opening track off of the album, is considered by outlets like Variety and Vulture as one of the greatest emo songs of all time.
