Toronto is still recovering after Beyoncé graced the stage for her back-to-back stadium shows at the Rogers Centre this weekend, kicking off the North American leg of the Renaissance Tour.
This was the first time the global superstar took the stage in the city in almost a decade, following her 2016 Formation Tour.
Torontonians showed up and showed out in their Sunday best all weekend long and came with energy only fit for a queen.

Now Toronto got in the mix and had the opportunity to attend the concert on Saturday. Here’s how it went down.
From the moment the artist emerged from underneath the stage among heavy smoke for her opening number, to being propelled into the air on a bedazzled silver horse at the finish line, the audience was in a trance and reminded at every turn why Beyoncé is one of the greatest performers of all time.
The show perfectly kicked off at an intimate pace with Queen B in a sparkly silver dress serenading the crowd with “Dangerously In Love.”
Not long after delivering her hit, Beyoncé took a break to do a cover of “I’m Goin’ Down” by Mary J. Blige, which the audience was more than happy to sing along to.
The Houston, Texas singer did an incredible job at delivering new music while also staying true to her impressive catalogue and the hits that made her supporters fall in love with her from the beginning.
The audience was feeling nostalgic when she performed some of her past bangers, including “I Care,” “Run the World (Girls),” “Partition,” “Diva,” “Flaws and All” and “1+1.”
The city was just as excited to hear the artist’s most recent projects that have broken charts and have been incorporated into popular TikTok dances that no one in the audience was shy to break into.
This included “Cuff It” and “My Power,” a viral dance spearheaded by none other than Beyoncé’s 11-year-old daughter Blue Ivy, who sadly did not make an appearance at the show.
Throughout the event, attendees got a chance to catch their breath as Beyoncé underwent quick outfit and set changes a handful of times.
Fans were left to look upon gorgeous immersive displays on the stage’s screen and occasionally erupted into a dance party that the star’s back up dancers, including Les Twins, would instigate.
Another aspect of the show that kept the audience engaged is not knowing what outfit the queen would pull off next. Every look was seemingly better than the last, with some paying tribute to the beyhive.
It goes without saying that Beyoncé left her mark on the city and shined the whole way through, almost three hours to be exact.
What made the show special wasn’t only that fans got to listen to the artist sing her heart out and witness unbelievable choreography, but they also got to sing lyrics back to her and show off their own dance moves.
In fact, one of my favourite moments was when Toronto broke into singing “Love On Top,” and despite the audience not being able to hit every note, Beyoncé encouraged everyone to keep going and helped out where she could.
