Bruno Mars fans can expect continued chilly, and possibly wet conditions for Sunday’s “The Romantic Tour” show at Toronto’s Roger’s Stadium after Saturday’s cancelled concert.

Saturday saw rain through the entirety of the day, leading to the artist’s first of five sold out Toronto shows being rescheduled to be the last event in the Mars’ Toronto line up, on May 31.

What’s the weather forecast for tonight’s Bruno Mars concert?

With Sunday’s concert now being Bruno Mars’ opening show in a string of Toronto concerts, fans attending the weekend show may still experience some showers during the performance at the open air arena.

Environment Canada reports fans expect a high of 19 C during the day with periods of drizzle and temperatures dropping later during the show to a low of 13 C tonight.

Additionally, there’s a 60 per cent chance of showers beginning in the evening and stretching into the night.

Another major star’s concert in Toronto is likely to be impacted by Sunday weather. Fans of Khalid, who will be performing on the other side of the city at the newly branded RBC Amphitheatre, formerly known as Budweiser Stage, can expect the same conditions. The venue is partially uncovered for ticketholders in seats further away from the stage.

Will tonight’s Bruno Mars concert be cancelled?

The Sunday night event at the Rogers Stadium is good to go ahead as of midday. There have been no announcements by either Live Nation Ontario, Rogers Stadium or Bruno Mars himself on whether Sunday’s show will be cancelled and/or postponed due to bad weather.

Saturday’s show was postponed due to consistent, inclement weather, while Sunday’s conditions seem to be more up-in-the-air.

As for the RBC Amphitheatre, the space is a rain-or-shine venue, and Khalid’s show is expected to continue Sunday as normal.

While Rogers Stadium is also rain-or-shine, persistent conditions made traveling and attending the venue on Saturday a risk.

There was no Saturday show at RBC Amphitheatre, Rogers Centre or Scotiabank Arena.

What happened at last night’s postponed Bruno Mars concert?

The Saturday night event, which would have been the first opening night of a Bruno Mars concert since 2018 in Toronto, was rescheduled due to worsening weather throughout the day. Fan reactions to the news online were perceivably split between those who were ready to brave the weather and others calling on the show to be cancelled for public safety.

Immediately after the rescheduling announcement for the opening night of The Romantic Tour, Bruno Mars posted a regretful note on X and promised to “make it up to you” Toronto on May 31, 2026.

Many fans were concerned about their rights as ticketholders and wondered what the rescheduling meant for them. Live Nation Ontario told Now Toronto all previously made purchases for May 23, 2026, will be honoured for the new date.
