The GTA’s highly anticipated middle eastern food festival is underway and there’s lots to see, do, and of course eat.

Taste of the Middle East kicked off in Mississauga on Friday and is happening throughout the weekend, and you won’t want to miss it. Especially since it’s the very first winter edition of the festival.

Festival-goers can expect to try dishes from various countries from notable Arab nations, as well as sing along to live performances while moving their hips!

The non-profit organization, which was established in 2018, intends to recognize, showcase and celebrate middle eastern cultures in Southern Ontario.

They also wish to make a safe space for like-minded communities to participate and feel a sense of belonging, according to its website.
