Toronto Craft Beer Festival to take over RendezViews in September

The Toronto Craft Beer Festival will take over one of the city’s biggest (and best) new outdoor patios next month.

Running from September 23-26 at the sprawling and colourful RendezViews patio, RendezBrews will feature 40 to 50 craft beer varieties and take place over five timed sessions.

The festival, which began in 2016, is a scaled-down version of the usual event but larger than the 2020 edition, which took place at Ontario Place with 30 brewers involved. Early bird tickets are on sale now.

RendezViews has become a summer destination for distanced events. Located at John and Richmond, the patio is a collaboration with Hamilton-based brewery Collective Arts and Toronto’s Fifth and the Ballroom. It regularly hosts live music, drag shows, trivia and sports viewing parties.

The Toronto Craft Beer Festival will overlap with the Global Citizen Live broadcast on September 25.

The 24-hour show will span six continents and feature performances in cities such as New York and Paris by a variety of big music acts, including The Weeknd, Doja Cat, Green Day, Lizzo, Lorde, Metallica, BTS and others to raise awareness to issues of climate change and poverty.
