What do you do at Humber? 

I’m the coordinator of the Television Writing and Producing program.

What is your industry role?

Writer-producer.

What’s one skill students looking to enter your field absolutely must know? 

Strong writing ability.

What is the most memorable experience you’ve had working or learning at Humber?

Seeing over 80 per cent of graduates become successful in the TV industry.

Describe something that inspires you about your industry. 

The financial rewards.

The internet and digital technology have upended many creative arts disciplines. How does your Humber program prepare arts professionals for these challenges?

The way viewers watch shows has slightly changed but the way writers and producers develop and write scripts uses virtually the same storytelling techniques.  

What’s your favourite Toronto festival?

TIFF.
