Although the pandemic has seemingly brought Canadians nothing but heartache, it did however make way for the work-from-home movement.

More than ever before Canadians are working from home and apparently loving it, according to a survey by Abacus Data.

The poll suggests that some Canadians would even go as far as to drop some dollars from their salary just to work out of the comfort of their cozy four walls.

In fact, 42 per cent of female respondents would even take a pay cut.

In addition, 72 per cent of them said that the inability to work from homeis a deal breaker when looking for a job.

And if given the choice, women would choose to work from home 65 per cent of the time.

What’s more, moms want to spend 64 per cent of their time at home working compared with 51 per cent of dads.

The poll surveyed 1,313 working Canadian adults from Jan. 12 to 16, 2023.

The margin of error for a comparable probability-based random sample of the same size is plus or minus 2.8 per cent, 19 times out of 20.
