A tattoo shop on the Danforth is holding a standup comedy night where guests can get inked during the show.

The Red Dragon Tattoo Parlour, which is known for its all-female roster of tattoo artists and for using vegan ink, will host LaughINK, a first of its kind event  on Friday, March 8.

Local comics with stage credits from Yuk Yuk’s and Just for Laughs, including Kari Johnson, Reese Turner, Rush Kazi, Anto Chan, Jacy Lafontaine, Matt Henry, Amanda Custodio, Paul Schmidt and headliner Liam Kelly, will take the stage as Red Dragon artists tattoo guests during the show.

“Tattoos will be on a first come first served basis and we’re excited to be able to tattoo in this fun environment,” a representative for the shop told Now Toronto in an email statement.

Red Dragon is no stranger to unique events, having held a tattoo-themed paint night in the past.

“We’re always looking for interesting ways to utilize our space for the community,” the spokesperson said.

If having a good laugh and getting some body art tickles your fancy, tickets for the show cost $15 before tax and can be purchased here, or at the door.
