Come Up To My Room returns to the Gladstone

One of the city’s most creative alternative art exhibitions returns to the Gladstone Hotel (1214 Queen West, 416-531-4635, gladstonehotel.com) from Thursday to Sunday (January 21 to 24).

For Come Up To My Room, artists are invited to create unique, immersive installations in the historic hotel’s rooms. This year’s offerings include an almost exact replica of the hippest teen bedroom of the 80s – yes, Ferris Bueller’s – and a spectacular interactive installation that sees a hotel room split vertically between an “overworld” and “underworld.”

Featured designers include KLAUS by Nienkamper, Tom Dixon, the Racket Club, University of Waterloo school of architecture, Sara Nickelson & Studio WOOLF, Jay Dart and more. Admission is $10. More details and a full schedule of events at comeuptomyroom.com.
