Here’s everything new that’s coming to Amazon Prime Video Canada in October 2021.

All Or Nothing: Toronto Maple Leafs

After three seasons exploring football squads on both sides of the Atlantic, Amazon’s sports-documentary series tackles hockey – and, more specifically, the Leafs’ 2020-21 season that found the team in surprisingly strong form, even making it to the Stanley Cup Playoffs. We all know how it ended up, but it might be interesting to watch it from the inside. Will Arnett narrates. October 1

I Know What You Did Last Summer

Teens! Murder! Mystery! Summer! Lois Duncan’s 1973 teen novel – about a group of friends stalked by a killer determined to hold them accountable for the terrible decision they made the previous year – became the most satisfying of the 90s Scream clones, and now it’s back in miniseries form, with Madison Iseman, Brianne Tju, Ezekiel Goodman, Ashley Moore and Sebastian Amoruso as the pretty young things trying to stay alive long enough to figure out who wants them dead. October 15

My Name Is Pauli Murray

In this documentary, which premiered at Sundance earlier this year, RBG and Julia directors Julie Cohen and Betsy West turn their lens on a lesser-known historical figure: Pauli Murray, a non-binary Black lawyer who emerged from the segregated South to do some crucial work on early civil-rights cases and pave the way for the end of the Jim Crow era. Welcome To The Blumhouse

Once again, Blumhouse Productions – which is also rolling Halloween Kills into theatres this month – drops four new features on Amazon for the spooky season. Black As Night stars Asjha Cooper as a teenage vampire hunter in New Orleans, while Bingo Hell casts Penny Dreadful’s Adriana Barraza as a retiree who suspects something sinister is going on at the new gaming hall. Seniors in peril are also the focus of The Manor, starring Barbara Hershey and Bruce Davison, while Madres pairs Tenoch Huerta and Ariana Guerra as an expectant couple experiencing strange goings-on in their new community. Bingo Hell and Black As Night on October 1, Madres and The Manor follow on October 8.
