Canadian Chef Matty Matheson is bringing a ten-day Matty’s World Rules pop-up shop to Toronto in celebration of the release of his new cookbook “Matty Matheson: Soups, Salads, Sandwiches.”

Matheson is a widely recognized restaurateur, chef, social media personality and actor, with a regular role on the hit TV series “The Bear” and owner of several sought after Toronto food joints, including Matty’s Patty’s, Prime Seafood Palace and Maker Pizza, among others.

From October 10 to 20, a pop-up selling “anything me related,” as Matheson put it in an Instagram video, will be open at TIFF Lightbox in downtown Toronto.

Matheson will be at the pop-up on a handful of occasions to sign books and mingle with fans.

“I’m gonna be there for a couple of days doing some signings and just hanging out,” he told his Instagram followers.

As well as a chance to chat with Matty, customers will be able to shop a selection of goodies, including Matheson cookware items, cookbooks, salt and pepper shakers and more!

The pop-up announcement comes a week after Matheson released the dates for his latest book tour.

While the pop-up is free to attend, be sure to grab tickets to the official hometown launch of “Soups, Salads and Sandwiches” on Oct. 20, at TIFF Lightbox.

The chef will be joined by Tom Power from CBC’s Q for an on-stage interview covering everything from his time as a sous-chef at Toronto’s Le Sélect Bistro to becoming a leading culinary personality and an Emmy Award–winning writer, producer, and actor.
