Police can be seen arriving shortly after the altercation, and were filmed interacting with a person who appears to be the owner of the vandalized vehicle.

Toronto police told Now Toronto it had no record of the incident.

People online were quick to react to the footage, suggesting something must have triggered the man for him to behave in such a manner.

“Some underlying issues here,” one person wrote.

“Road rage is getting a lot worse in Toronto jeez,” another user responded.

Some put the driver’s frustration down to the state of the city’s roads.

“The amount of construction, lane closures etc have people sitting in traffic most of their commute and this will make some snap, like this fool,” one person wrote.

This is the second driving induced outburst caught on camera in a week in the city.

Last Sunday, police responded to a call after a man in the Danforth and Kennedy area was seen wielding a knife during a road rage issue shortly after 10:30 a.m.

Two men, one driver and one passenger, were allegedly spotted driving dangerously when a witness stepped out of his car to confront them.

The moment, which was caught on camera by the witness, shows him fending off the two men, one of whom exited their vehicle brandishing a knife.

Police arrested 21-year-old Rishabh Barua of Ajax in relation to the incident on one count of dangerous operation of a conveyance, possession of a weapon for a purpose dangerous to the public, assault with a weapon, and two counts of breach of recognizance.

Investigators are still looking for a second suspect.
