According to ESPN NBA insider Shams Charania, the Raptors are nearing a deal to bring Finals MVP Kawhi Leonardback to Toronto from the Los Angeles Clippers.
Charania reports the Clippers would receive Brandon Ingram, Gradey Dick, two first-round draft picks, one pick swap and two second-round picks in return.
The reported move comes just hours after ESPN analyst Brian Windhorst said on Get Up that a trade involving Leonard and Toronto “could happen today,” a report later highlighted by TSN.
Leonard famously led the Raptors to their first NBA championship in 2019, earning Finals MVP honours before departing for the Clippers in free agency later that summer.
If completed, the deal would mark one of the most significant reunions in franchise history and immediately reshape Toronto’s roster heading into next season.
