Kicking off the fall football season? You could score free gas to celebrate this Wednesday.

With the American football season coming into play, digital sports and gaming company DraftKings is giving away free gas to Toronto fans.

The specific gas station location will be revealed on Sept. 2, and the cost of fuel will be covered while supplies last between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. No purchase of a DraftKings account necessary.

“With Gameday Fuel, we’re kicking off the season by giving away free gas in local communities,” Stephanie Sherman, Chief Marketing Officer at DraftKings, said in a press release. “Football season is one of the most exciting times of the year for fans, and DraftKings is always looking for meaningful ways to make the experience even more memorable.”

While the Canadian Football League (CFL) season has been underway since June, football fans have another major league to get ready for. The National Football League (NFL) kicks off its 2026 regular season on Sept. 9, when reigning Super Bowl LX champions the Seattle Seahawks face the New England Patriots, who finished as last season’s runners-up.

Stay tuned, as more details will be revealed on the gas station location in the coming days.
