Canada’s iconic coffee and donut chain, Tim Hortons, is set to open a pop-up merchandise store inside Toronto’s Eaton Centre this November, brewing up a unique retail experience for fans of the beloved brand.
A photo of the unfinished storefront, posted to Reddit over the weekend, quickly gained traction online. It shows the distinctive Tim Horton’s logo alongside signage that reads “Tim Shop,” suggesting a new focus on branded merchandise rather than the company’s traditional food offerings.
According to a Tim Hortons spokesperson, the space will be transformed into a seasonal pop-up, the first retail store of its kind for the brand and an extension of the company’s online TimShop, set to open in early November and run through December.
“The retail shop will allow shoppers to experience our merchandise in person and try items on. There will be a range of items at different price points for holiday gifts,” a spokesperson from Tim Hortons told Now Toronto on Tuesday.
Tim Hortons will offer much of the same merchandise made available online, including apparel, exclusive items, accessories, drinkware, and holiday merchandise, at the same prices, the spokesperson said.
According to the official TimShop website, shoppers can also expect to find caps, hoodies, joggers, K-Cups, and roasted coffee, among others. Additionally, the website boasts vintage and nostalgic designs aimed at longstanding fans of the iconic brand.
