Toronto Raptors power forward Scottie Barnes has just made National Basketball Association (NBA) history.

Barnes is the first player in the NBA to achieve 18 points per game, over 400 assists, over 100 steals, and over 100 blocks in a single season. He officially took the title Wednesday.

In last Sunday’s game against the Orlando Magic, he became the 12th player in the league to record 400 assists and 100 blocks. Some of the most notable names in the club include Dwyane Wade, Scottie Pippen, and Michael Jordan.

He has also successfully made over 50 three-pointers and scored 50 per cent of his shots as two and three-pointer field goals.

Barnes is one of the most versatile players on the Raptors, playing as a power forward, forward, and guard, as his teammate — and point guard — Immanuel Quickley has now missed four games due to a foot injury. Barnes himself just recovered from a left shoulder injury.

The Toronto Raptors are currently ranked seventh in the NBA’s Eastern Conference with 42 wins to 34 losses. The team is scheduled to play two away games against the Memphis Grizzlies Friday, April 3 and the Boston Celtics Sunday, April 5.
