Flavours of Niagara returns with delicious foods prepared by celebrity chefs this month

Sugar, spice, and everything nice is returning to Flavours of Niagara Falls this month, and some big names in the culinary world will be cooking up a storm.

This month-long culinary celebration is running now until March 21 and brings together diverse foods and celebrity chefs at select venues, providing exclusive dinners, and prix fix menus at 25 local restaurants. 

These restaurants will also offer a masterfully curated Prix Fixe menu, including at  STK Steakhouse, Ponte Vecchio and Fat Rabbit, until March 10, where prices range from as low as $30 to $90. 

Not only will guests be able to taste the delicious local flavours of the Niagara region, but they can also sip on some of the best world-class wines produced in the area. During the entire festival, winery partners are offering savings on wine tours and tastings making for the ultimate Niagara experience. 

From French-inspired cuisine to Caribbean flavours, check out the celebrity chefs who will be whipping up a specially-curated menu during the festival below.

Chef Rocco DiSpirito

There’s a variety of delicious dishes on the menu at Flavours of Niagara, including an endless Italian-family style dinner with wine pairings being served up by renowned Italian-American celebrity Chef, Rocco DiSpirito

The New York City chef is no stranger to audiences and foodies, with several television appearances and fourteen cookbooks under his belt.

DiSpirito will be serving up dishes from his latest cook book at Corso Family Style Restaurant on March 7 at 6 p.m. Get ready to feast on some of Italy’s signature dishes, with tickets at $99 per person.

Chef Romain Avril 

On March 8, prepare for a magical evening of fine dining with a French-inspired meal from Chef Romain Avril. The celebrated chef, known for his work on the Food Network and CTV, along with Executive Chef John Vetere will be lending their masterful hands to a night of exquisite French dining with a four-course meal and Burgundian-style wine produced in Niagara. The evening begins at 6 p.m. at Ravine Vineyards Estate Winery. Sign up for this unforgettable culinary experience, with tickets priced at $185 per person.

Chef Ari Schor

Montreal-based Chef Ari Schor, from Restaurant Beba, is set to collaborate with local Chef Zach Smith at the Michelin Guide Recommended Fat Rabbit, a restaurant and butcher shop, for a special menu on March 20. Chef Schor will be joining forces with Chef Zac Smith to bring some Old World vibes for one night only at 6 p.m. 

Chef Darian Bryan

Looking for the heat this spring? Take a trip to the islands with Chef Darian Bryan who’s bringing the Caribbean to Niagara with Jamaican cuisine on March 21.

Known for his bold flavours, Chef Darian has been featured on the Food Network, CBS News and ESPN. The accomplished chef is sure to bring serious island vibes to Jamaican Night at Tide and Vine Oyster House, with a three-course menu packed with Caribbean flavours, along with hors d’oeuvres and optional wine or cocktail pairings.

The unforgettable island escape starts at 7 p.m. and is ticketed at $129 per person.
