The City of Toronto confirmed with Now Toronto that spectators at the FIFA Fan Fest were being escorted out of the venue after due to potential bad weather incoming.
Now Toronto was onsite covering fan reactions to epic moments ranging from the first goal by Mexico to the red card and penalty awarded in the second half, when the announcement was made with a “cancellation of show” message displayed on the massive screen broadcasting the World Cup opener between Mexico and South Africa.
