After a star-studded night honouring emerging artists and fan-favourites, the 65th Grammy Award winners are in–and some fans are feeling slighted.

Among the highlights from Sunday night’s award show was Beyoncé making history with the most Grammy wins of all time, though many of her loyal fans felt she deserved to win Album of the Year for RENAISSANCE, which instead went to Harry Styles for Harry’s House.

During Styles’ acceptance speech, he said, “This doesn’t happen to people like me very often…”

Some were displeased with the remark, saying white people are often rewarded for their talents:

Some believe he may be referring to wins not going to members of the LGBTQ+ community, as many fans think he has hinted at being a part of that community. But he has not publicly confirmed his sexuality.

Viola Davis achieved EGOT status, meaning she has won an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony Award. At Sunday’s Grammys she won Best Audio Book, Narration, and Storytelling Recording for “Finding Me.”

First Lady Jill Biden presented Song of the Year to Bonnie Raitt for “Just Like That.”

Quavo performed an emotional tribute to his late nephew and Migos member, Takeoff.
