On Sunday, the “Unforgettable” rapper took the stage at FIFA Fan Festival in Toronto, which had a delayed start due to the risk of thunderstorms. The downpour caused the festival gates to open just before 5 p.m., hours after its previously scheduled 1:30 p.m. start.

The FIFA Fan Festival also faced a similar issue on the first day of the tournament due to severe weather. Attendees were evacuated due to the threat of lightning, city officials said on Thursday.

French Montana’s set went on as scheduled, with no openers, as drumming group Nagata Schachu had been postponed.

The rapper performed some of his biggest hits like “Work REMIX,” “Pop That,” and “I’m a Coke Boy,” while sporting a Morocco jersey, a nod to his birthplace. But at one point during the show, Montana expressed that he was “a little cold.” That’s when a team member passed him a Canada jersey which he instantly put on and wore for the remainder of the show.
