Marvel Studios’ Black Panther in concert is coming to town from June 29 to 30 at Roy Thomson Hall in Toronto.
Steven Reineke, known as one of North America’s leading conductors of popular music, will conduct the show. He has worked with major artists, including Kendrick Lamar.
Additionally, Massamba Diop will also take the stage. The Senegal native is one of the most renowned masters of the tama and known for his abilities to replicate the sounds of human speech on the drum.
Together, they will bring to life the story of a young king faced with danger as he releases the full power of the Black Panther to take down his enemies and protect his family, people and their way of life.
Prepare to relive all the feels of T’Challa defeating Killmonger with the help of Toronto Symphony Orchestra pulling the strings.
The first Black Panther film grossed $1.3 billion in 2018 and left a major cultural impact on the world.
However, it was the late Chadwick Boseman, who played the lead role who left a mark on fans.
To many, the actor portrayed a hero in both the Marvel universe and in real life as he battled colon cancer and died in 2020, just two years after the first film was released.
