The Plain White T’s have responded to Drake’s recent feature on social media personality Snowd4y’s Toronto remix of “Hey There Delilah” and the band was left speechless.

Earlier this week, Snowd4y released “Wah Gwan Delilah” on SoundCloud as a parody to the original song which came out in 2005. The track took the internet by storm leaving some fans confused and Toronto fans amused.

On Wednesday, the American rock band posted their reaction to the song on TikTok and they could not believe what they were hearing. “The T’s were too stunned to speak…” reads the caption of the video.

“That’s not Drake,” lead singer Tom Higgenson said in shock.

“It’s crazy that everybody thinks that it’s real. It seems like it’s very obvious (referring to A.I). I don’t know, but it’s cool, whatever,” he added.

“There’s no f*****g way!” bassist Mike Retondo said.

Despite claims that the track used artificial intelligence (AI) for Drake’s verses, the Toronto rapper actually confirmed it was him on Instagram, when he posted a story of the cover with the caption, “@snowd4y wake up the city.”

Under the comments, fans say the band is very clearly disappointed with the song.

“He is so disappointed that he doesn’t want to believe it’s Drake,” one TikTok user said.

“Tell them they cannot release it,” another user said.

“This is 100% real and this is the Canadian Toronto accent, enjoy,” another user commented.
