People are buzzing online about the possibility of a Drake and Bieber team-up after Drake responded to Bieber’s callout for music collaborations.

On Sunday, Bieber posted a series of photos on Instagram and captioned it, “Dm me if u wanna make music together.”

“I DM’d but no reply,” commented Drake. The comment immediately ignited reactions from fans, a lot of them saying that the collab needs to happen.

“Bieber and Drake could highkey make a Toronto anthem that takes over the charts if they actually went in the studio for a night and locked in,” a user on Reddit commented.

“This collab would set history,” a user on Instagram said.

“Put him on the new album. I know you working on one,” another user suggested.

“Since the tariffs are going on, this is the Canadian collab we want to see!” another user said.

Bieber and Drake go all the way back, and have collaborated more than a decade ago.

Drake worked with Bieber on the 2012 track “Right Here” on Bieber’s “Believe” album, and reportedly played a supportive role behind the scenes for Bieber’s “Journals” project.

In 2020, Bieber appeared in the music video for DJ Khaled and Drake’s “Popstar” music video, where he portrayed Drake in a playful performance.

Drake’s unanswered message to Bieber led to a mix of speculation online, memes and lighthearted comments across social media platforms.

Some believe it’s all in good fun, others wonder whether there might be genuine tension between the two as Bieber unfollowed Drake on Instagram recently.

Drake wasn’t the only one to take notice; other artists also dropped into Bieber’s comments, adding to the growing excitement around potential collaborations.

“Check Dm’s,” rapper Big Sean commented.

“Meeeeeeeee,” singer Destin Conrad commented.

“Whewwhewwww,” artist Kehlani also commented.
