What to know

  • Planned track work will shut down the GO Barrie Line between Allandale Waterfront GO and Union Station during several Bruno Mars concert dates, eliminating service to Downsview Park GO Station, the closest GO station to the stadium.
  • In response, the TTC says it will increase subway and bus service, including extra trains on Line 1 and Line 2 and additional buses on several west-end routes near the venue.
  • Concert-goers are encouraged to access the stadium through nearby TTC stations including Downsview Park Station, Sheppard West Station and Wilson Station, while accessibility shuttles will also operate between Wilson Station and the stadium.

Fans preparing to catch a Bruno Mars concert this weekend might need to rethink their commute plans due to upcoming GO Transit closures near the Rogers Stadium.

Bruno Mars is set to light up the Rogers Stadium, with five shows being held in the venue from May 23 to May 30 as part of The Romantic Tour.

During the concerts of May 23, May 24 and May 30, the GO Barrie Line will be closed from Allandale Waterfront GO to Union Station for planned track work.

No GO service to Downsview Park Station during concert dates

The planned closure means there will be no service Downsview Park GO, which is the closest GO station to the stadium.

The good news is: in order to support concertgoers through the closure, TTC will be offering additional service.

Best TTC routes to Rogers Stadium

On May 23, the TTC said it will increase service on Line 1 Yonge-University and Line 2 Bloor-Danforth, with fans being encouraged to take Line 1 to Downsview Park, Sheppard West, or Wilson stations, which are all within walking distance of the stadium.
