Toronto’s newest mayor is already giving the city something to talk about after she was caught on video showing off her dance moves at Jerk Fest this weekend.
Some residents even coined her moment a “Chow Down” as a result of the mayor eating up those dance moves and leaving no crumbs.
Chow donned an all white ensemble and a hint of her signature purple when she delivered her moves to theCarribean music playing behind her. Toronto City Councillor Michael Thompson was also on stage with her busting out some moves.
One video racked up nearly 100k views as of Monday afternoon, with many commenting that Chow was living her best life this summer.
“Home girl is outsideeeeeee,” one TikTok user wrote.
“This is a real Chow Down! Hol dem Olivia,” another said.

However, other users weren’t feeling the vibes as much.
“I am so sorry for Toronto,” one user said.
“This city is so unserious,” another chimed in.
Still, the majority of Torontonians found the video amusing and shared they enjoyed seeing the leader of their city get down and busy with everyone else.
If this feels like déjà vu, it’s because this isn’t the first time Chow has given the city this type of energy.
Earlier this summer she was caught on video dancing her heart out at the Dyke March during Pride Month dressed in white and purple, of course.
