A Toronto bus driver has gone viral on TikTok after sharing the passenger habits she says make every shift more frustrating—and many riders are saying they can relate.
A Toronto TTC bus driver who goes by @dreaazzzworld on TikTok posts a series called Bus Chronicles, sharing her experience at work.
Lately, she’s posted her biggest passenger pet peeves.

Her first pet peeve: people who are clipping their nails.
“Why?” she asked. “As soon as I hear the clipping sound of a nail clipper on my bus, I literally go insane.”
Another pet peeve of hers: people acting like they have to “hail the bus.”
She said she hates pulling up to a stop where someone will wave their hand as if she’s a “taxi cab,” when they’re already standing at a bus stop.
But one TikTok comment addressed that pet peeve, saying people do it, or they get left behind.
“People hail the bus because drivers often drive right past people,” a user justified.
The TTC bus driver continues by saying it “gets under [her] skin” when people try to get on the bus with an invalid transfer, or press the stop request button when it’s not their stop.
Other TTC drivers and passengers have been sharing their thoughts in the comments.
“Mine is having to pay,” one joked.
“Hitting the stop request when pulling into a subway station,” another added.
“People listening to stuff on their phones without headphones,” another user said.
“Throwing in change that’s not even close to the full fare and then having the nerve to ask for a transfer,” one user wrote.
After many commenters shared their pet peeves, the TTC bus driver decided to make a second part to her list.

In this second video, the creator complains that TTC passengers are unprepared to pay and are holding up the line.
“How have you been waiting for the bus this long, and you’re still not ready when you get on the bus to pay?” she asked.
On the note of unpreparedness, she doesn’t like it when people request the stop, and “wait until the last second to get off their seat,” saying some will later scream “back doors, back doors.”
Her final pet peeve is when people hold the door for their friends who are “leisurely walking” to the bus.
“I think some people forget that we’re on a timed schedule,” she said.
