Trans Youth Ice Skating Night
Calling all trans youth! It’s time to lace up your skates and hit the ice for The 519’s Trans Youth Social ice skating night at The Bentway. The event is for two-spirit, trans and non-binary youth between 16 and 29 years old in a supportive, affirming and fun environment.
The Trans Youth Social events are part of a sibling program to the community centre’s Trans Youth Mentorship Program, but those wanting to skate do not need to be enrolled in the mentorship program.
Trans Youth Socials are trans-only spaces, and the 519 asks that cisgender allies, friends and family members make space for their trans loved ones by sitting this one out.
