Happy Cinco de Mayo, Toronto!
The annual holiday, which literally translates to the fifth of May in Spanish, commemorates Mexico’s victory over France in the 1862 Battle of Puebla, and Toronto has loads of festivities lined up citywide for you to get your fiesta on in celebration.

SPIN is offering games, ping pong and a DJ to keep the vibes pumping on May 4. Partnered with Tromba Tequila, SPIN is also offering a free shot to kick off the festivities!

The Pint Public House is offering a themed brunch with loads of delicious Mexican-inspired dishes and drinks on May 5. Indulge in $8 margaritas, complimentary tequila samplings and live entertainment, including a live mariachi band!

Enjoy homemade traditional Mexican cuisine like ceviche and mole poblano as well as cocktails at Barrio on May 5. Aside from serving up classic dishes, the Queen Street restaurant will also feature a live mariachi band!

Jose Cuervo Presents: Cinco de Mayo at The Porch
The Porch and tequila brand Jose Cuervo are teaming up to bring you a rooftop party on May 5. From 1 p.m. to 6 p.m, partygoers will experience a live DJ, Mexican eats and a specialty tequila drink menu curated by Jose Cuervo.

Authentic Mexican restaurant El Catrin is counting down the days until its three-day Cinco de Mayo fiesta. From May 5 to 7, the Distillery District restaurant is offering a new and exclusive food menu curated by new executive chefs, as well as a mariachi band and Herradura tequila tastings.
