Do you dream of wearing a designer dress, but it’s just too expensive? Yorkville dress rental store Renthesthetic is closing, but not without a goodbye sale. This Sunday, shop designer pieces for 30 to 70 per cent off, with coffee and flowers to sweeten the farewell.
After three years in business, hoping to make fashion more accessible and sustainable, the dress store is shutting its doors.
“We wanted to create a space where women could experience unique designer pieces without the need to own them,” Rentesthetics shared in an Instagram post.
But over time, the store grew into more than a rental service. “It became a community of girls who cared about both style and intention,” part of the post read.
To create a feminine community one last time, Rentesthetics decided to partner with the third-space initiative Maybe Next Time in hopes of fostering genuine friendships through a girls-only social rooted in fashion.
