The Ontario Federation of Labour (OFL) is hosting a rally and march this weekend in protest of the cost of living crisis and health care issues affecting Torontonians.

“Enough is Enough Day of Action” rallies are being organized to take a stand for real wage increases, keeping schools and health care public, affordable groceries, gas, and basic goods, rent control and affordable housing and making the banks and corporations pay, reads the OFL’s website.

Rallies will be taking place across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and across Ontario on June 3.

“On the one-year anniversary of Doug Ford’s re-election, we’re taking to the streets to say: ‘enough is enough!’ We know that when working people come together, we win,” reads the website.

A few planned rallies include Toronto’s Rally & March at Nathan Phillips Square beginning at 12 p.m., Brampton’s Community Picnic at Eldorado Park at 8520 Creditview Road at 11:00 a.m, and the Bus to the Toronto Rally & March in Ancaster at Meadowlands, 977 Golf Links Road and Sobeys parking lot at 10:15 a.m.

In order to attend, OFL is urging workers and GTA residents alike to RSVP prior to protesting.
