Canada’s World Cup celebration is coming down to one final showdown as defending champion Argentina takes on Spain for soccer’s biggest trophy on Sunday.
The 2026 FIFA World Cup final is being held at New York New Jersey Stadium, also known as MetLife Stadium, in East Rutherford, N.J. Kickoff is set for 3 p.m. ET in Toronto and noon PT in Vancouver. Argentina is chasing its fourth World Cup title, while Spain is looking to win the tournament for the second time.
This year’s final will also feature the first halftime show in World Cup history. Curated by Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, the performance will feature Madonna, Shakira with Burna Boy, BTS, Justin Bieber, Gustavo Dudamel, and the PS22 Chorus featuring Coldplay.
Sunday’s match also brings Canada’s historic run as a World Cup host to a close. Toronto hosted six matches, and Vancouver hosted seven during the first men’s World Cup played on Canadian soil. The final will complete the expanded 48-team, 104-match tournament hosted across Canada, the United States and Mexico.

FIFA Fan Festival Toronto
The city’s official FIFA Fan Festival will show the final across all three of its zones at Fort York and The Bentway. The festival is open from noon to 8:30 p.m., while the match broadcast is scheduled from 2:30 to 6 p.m.
The final-day programming also includes Angine de Poitrine and Kardinal Offishall’s Soundclash Society, along with food vendors and interactive activities. Free general-admission tickets are subject to availability and entry may be paused if the festival reaches capacity.

University of Toronto Front Campus
Fans can spread out on U of T’s Front Campus for a free outdoor screening on a giant screen. Attendees can bring blankets, lawn chairs, food, and non-alcoholic drinks, while food trucks will also be available nearby.
Seating is first-come, first-served, and no ticket or RSVP is required.

Evergreen Brick Works
Evergreen Brick Works is holding a free outdoor final watch party under its Pavilions. The event will include food and drinks, lawn games and a live DJ, but seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Attendees are encouraged to bring a camping chair.
A free shuttle bus will also operate between Broadview Station and Evergreen Brick Works.

Café Diplomatico
Little Italy’s Café Diplomatico will screen the final on several televisions and its large outdoor video wall. The event begins at 1 p.m., followed by a pre-match DJ set at 2 p.m. and another party after the champion is crowned.
The restaurant is only accepting walk-ins for the final, so fans should arrive early.

Left Field Brewery Leslieville
Left Field Brewery is holding a free final watch party at its Leslieville location. The event begins two hours before kickoff, giving fans time to grab food and drinks before Argentina and Spain take the field.

FIFA Fan Festival Vancouver
Vancouver’s official FIFA Fan Festival at the PNE opens at 9 a.m., with the final shown at noon on the Park Stage and surrounding screens. Free areas are standing-room only and first-come, first-served, while reserved Amphitheatre seating is ticketed.
The celebration will continue after the game with Kaytranada scheduled to perform at 2:50 p.m., followed by Lou Phelps at 4:10 p.m. Concert times may shift depending on how long the match runs.
