Oasis fans it’s your lucky day, the iconic British rock group announced Monday that it is bringing its reunion tour to North America.
The band, which was formed in Manchester, U.K in the early nineties by brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher, will play in Toronto on Aug. 24, 2025 at Live Nation’s recently announced Rogers Stadium.

Oasis will tour North America in 2025!,” it wrote on Instagram on Monday.
The band, known for songs like “Wonderwall,” and “Don’t Look Back in Anger,” will also play in Chicago, IL, East Rutherford, NJ, Los Angeles, CA and Mexico City.
Oasis’s last Canadian show was at the John Labatt Centre in London, ON, on Dec. 15, 2008 but it has not performed in Toronto since 2005.
Canadian Oasis fans have been reacting to the news online, following speculation that Rogers Stadium would be the venue to host the globally renowned musicians.
“Real music is back in America,” a fan commented on Instagram.
“Oasis didn’t have to come back. They’re coming to remind you what rock ‘n’ roll is,” a fan on X wrote.
“The best news of the decade, thank you!!!,” another person said.
Meanwhile, others expressed disappointment that the band won’t be stopping in South America or other major U.S. cities.
“Boston?????,” one X user wrote.
“Now announce ARGENTINA, please,” another person said.
Oasis split in 2009 but revealed in August that it would be getting back together for its Oasis Live 25 tour with shows in the U.K and Ireland, with the first two shows of the tour scheduled at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales on July 4 and 5.
