
The results are in and the best in Canadian music were recognized at the 54th JUNO Awards in Vancouver, B.C Sunday night.
The official JUNOS ceremony kicked off with its legendary orange carpet, where fans got the chance to see their favourite Canadian music icons, and check out some of the most remarkable looks of the night.
Some of the most iconic looks of the night include, bbno$ who shocked fans by showing up in what appeared to be a toilet costume.
Meanwhile, Canadian singer and drag queen Priyanka rocked a white dress with a top made of candles.
The ceremony was hosted by singer-songwriter Michael Bublé, who took the JUNO stage again after seven years since last hosting the event, presented this year’s biggest awards in Canada’s music scene.

JUNO AWARD WINNERS
Josh Ross took home the Country Album of the Year award for his debut album “Complicated,” and performed “Leave Me Too,” his latest single.
Another highly-anticipated award for the night, the Breakthrough Artist of the Year, was given to Toronto singer-songwriter Nemahsis, who also performed her hit “Stick of Gum.”
The TikTok JUNO Fan Choice went to international success, bbno$, who took his first JUNO tonight after multiple past nominations. The rapper also hit the stage with his performance of “it boy.”
Ajax pop-punk band Sum 41 marked the night with their last-ever performance after being inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame.
The most JUNO-awarded artist ever, Anne Murray, who holds 26 statuettes, was honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award, given to artists that have shaped the industry and paved the way for future generations. Murray accepted the award while showing her Canadian pride with a bold Canada-themed shirt, saying that Canada has always been her safe haven.
Canadian pride seemed to be in the air tonight with some more supporting remarks to the country, in light of the trade war with the U.S.
Bublé also stated he’s “proud to be Canadian” and emphasized that “Canada is not for sale.”
“We love this country. We are the greatest nation on Earth, and we are not for sale!”
Another comment in relation to the topic came from rapper bbno$, who called out U.S. government advisor Elon Musk in his acceptance speech.
“Elon Musk is a piece of garbage.”
OTHER AWARDS DISTRIBUTED AT THE GALA
Some of the winners have already been revealed on Saturday at the JUNO Awards Gala.
Calgary pop singer-songwriter Tate McRae, who received five nominations this year, collected four awards at the gala, including Single of the Year for “exes,” Artist of the Year, and Album and Pop Album of the Year for “Think Later” (2023).
Also awarded yesterday was Jessie Reyez, who received the The Rap Single of the Year award, for her hit “SHUT UP,” and also took the stage today to present the International Achievement Award to Boi-1da.
Winners of other remarkable categories include NOBRO who took his first JUNO for Rock Album of the Year and Aqyila who took home the Contemporary R&B Recording of the Year award and rocked the stage with a beautiful performance.
