Maybe you came out a long time ago, and you’ve been to what feels like every Pride party Toronto has to offer. Or maybe you’re freshly walking in your truth, but typical parties don’t appeal to you. Either way, if you’re looking to celebrate Pride in a unique way, we have you covered.
In a city that hosts Pride events everywhere from local markets to community parks and even the aquarium, Toronto has a lot to offer when it comes to Pride experiences. To keep you in the know and in the mix, Queer & Now has rounded up five events that you should check out if the average dance party isn’t your thing.
St. Lawrence Market Street Pride
Where: St. Lawrence Market, 92–95 Front St. E.
When: June 13, 2026 @ 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Hosted at the historic St. Lawrence Market, Market Street Pride is a fun-filled, family-friendly day, offering something for everyone.
Featuring music, food, workshops, live demos, a licensed bar, and endless entertainment, this local event offers everything you’ve come to love about the Pride season, without as much of the hustle and bustle. Local Queer vendors will also be on site, making this the perfect opportunity to support 2SLGBTQ+ artists and businesses.
Toronto 2SLGBTQ+ event organizers Beyond the Bow will be operating a carabiner and bracelet decorating station during the day, plus fans of Canada’s Drag Race will want to be sure to catch the market’s headliner, BOA, who will hit the stage from 3:10-3:30 p.m., and again from 3:50- 4:10 p.m.
Entry to Market Street Pride is free, plus once you’ve taken in the Pride festivities, you can enjoy St. Lawrence Market itself, which is open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays.
Night at the Aqueerium
Where: Ripley’s Aquarium, 288 Bremner Blvd.
When: June 19, 2026 @ 8 p.m. – 12 a.m.
If you’re looking to celebrate Pride under the sea (kind of), Ripley’s Night at the Aqueerium might be the party for you. While this event does feature DJs, dancing, and drag queens, it made its way onto this list of unique events because of the venue.
Back for its 10th anniversary, this lavish affair invites guests to dance the night away and enjoy talented drag artists while surrounded by thousands of sea animals. This year’s party includes an all-star lineup featuring dazzling drag performers Juice Boxx, Ivory Towers, Star Doll and Andy Christ, as well as burlesque from the incredible Rita Ann’tique and vibrant beats from DJ C Mac and DJ Sumation, joined by dancers Milkshake and Kofi.
Tickets are available and priced at $62.50.
Pride J’ouvert
Where: To Be Announced
When: June 21, 2026 @ 1-8 p.m.
Back for its third year, Pride J’ouvert is one of the most beloved events for Queer Caribbean people in Toronto. With bumping music, high-energy celebrations, and vibrant joy, this annual event brings together Pride celebrations and Caribbean tradition.
A joyful fusion of music, movement and Queer culture, the event is inspired by the pre-dawn festivities that are part of Trinidad and Tobago’s Carnival, and invites attendees to let loose to the sounds of soca and other Caribbean music while celebrating freedom, resilience and self-expression.
More than just a party, Pride J’ouvert highlights the experiences and contributions of Black and Caribbean 2SLGBTQIA+ communities, creating a space where cultural identity and Queer identity are celebrated together. This year it’s black paint only, and attendees are encouraged to wear bright colours.
Top-tier tickets are still available online and at the door. Organizers say that the event will be held in Toronto’s west-end, with the exact location withheld until days before the party to prioritize community safety.
Ubuntu Pride Picnic in the Park
Where: Christie Pitts Park
When: June 21, 2026 @ 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Head to Christie Pitts Park for the Ubuntu Pride Picnic. Featuring Afrobeats and a pot-luck style meal, the gathering is designed to be a joyful space for Queer women, Trans women, and Non-Binary folks to connect, celebrate their differences, and feel held by the community.
Tickets are priced at $25, or two for $45, with $10 of every sale going to the Newcomer Program at UPlift Black Centre for Social Justice and Inclusion in Barrie, one of just a few Black-led QTBIPOC organizations in the province.
With a women-led Djembe drumming circle, youth dance and spoken word performance, group games and prizes, the event promises to be nourishing for all who attend. Plus, Ubuntu activity stations for the day include a butterfly message wall, “Where We’re From” community pins, and other community connection activities.
Toronto Tempo Pride Night
Where: Scotiabank Arena, 40 Bay St.
When: June 27, 2026 @ 2 p.m.
While many sapphic people in the city consider every Toronto Tempo game to be an unofficial Queer meet-up, the team is hosting an official Pride game during the last weekend of the month.
Set for the same day as the Toronto Dyke March, the Tempo’s Play with Pride Night is on Saturday, June 27, 2026. The women will take on the Phoenix Mercury, with tip-off set for 2 p.m. at Scotiabank Arena.
Presented by Sephora, the themed game is geared towards celebrating 2SLGBTQ+ fans, athletes, and creators while bringing the community together through basketball. Meanwhile, special limited-edition merchandise from Peau de Loup and Round21 will be sold on site.
Tickets are on sale now, starting at $43.75.
