According to FIFA, at the start of the sale, tickets available will include categories 1–3 and front-row. Tickets will continue to roll out until July 19, as the last-minute sales phase will run through the end of the tournament, allowing fans to buy even more tickets on the website.
As the event approaches, FIFA says it has sold over five million tickets for the event, and it expects this years’ games to surpass the cumulative record of 3.5 million during the 1994 World Cup, which was hosted by the U.S.
