Gunfire and a car crash: Toronto police investigating after 8 magic mushroom dispensaries targeted

In just three nights, Toronto police responded to eight different incidents where magic mushroom dispensaries were targeted in the city this week.

Seven incidents involved firearms being discharged, while one incident involved a vehicle driving through a storefront. Police say that no one was inside the vehicle at the time.

Police told Now Toronto that the incidents occurred at eight different dispensaries over the last three evenings.

No injuries have been reported in relation to the incidents.

Despite there being various unregulated magic mushroom “dispensaries” across Toronto, the drug is illegal in Canada. 

The Toronto Police Integrated Gun and Gang Task Force – Centralized Shooting Response Teams are actively investigating these incidents.

Police did not share a suspect description with Now Toronto.
