PHOTO GALLERY: World Naked Bike Ride

The 11th annual World Naked Bike Ride swept through the city on Saturday (June 13). Participants met and disrobed in Coronation Park along the Lake Shore (this year with the sound of the Honda Indy roaring in the background) and headed out to various points across downtown, surprising pedestrians in Kensington Market, Yorkville, Yonge Street, Nathan Phillips Square and finally the Ferry docks at the foot of Bay.

The main message of the event was to protest against our reliance on non-renewable forms of energy and to support bike riding as an environmentally friendly mode of transport.
