The iconic Shake Shack burgers from down south are coming to Toronto.
The New York-based burger chain is making its anticipated debut in Canada next year, with the flagship restaurant slated to open in Toronto.
“We have been eyeing this incredible opportunity in Canada for quite some time and are elated to have found exceptional partners to serve Shack classics and bespoke Canada-exclusive items to our sophisticated neighbors to the north,” Chief Global Licensing Officer of Shake Shack Michael Kark said in a press release on Tuesday.
The company is planning to open 35 Shacks in Canada by 2035, with the first location opening in Toronto next year.
Details about the exact locations have not been announced yet.
The menu will feature signature items including the ShackBurger, Chicken Shack, classic crinkle cut fries, beer, wine and frozen custard, according to the press release.
