Ahead of Drake’s Iceman album release, fans were already speculating about who the Toronto rapper might target next.
Now that Iceman, Maid of Honour and Habibti have officially dropped, listeners are combing through lyrics for apparent disses directed at everyone from Kendrick Lamar and Lebron James to DJ Khaled and J. Cole.
As expected, Drake’s ongoing rivalry with Kendrick Lamar appears to remain front and centre throughout multiple tracks on the albums.

Kendrick Lamar
As many fans expected, Drake appears to continue taking aim at Kendrick Lamar across several tracks on the new albums.
In 1AM In Albany, listeners believe Drake references Kendrick Lamar’s height, calling him a “kid.”
He also referenced Kendrick Lamar’s diss track, “Not Like Us,” mentioning “the owl never sees the cage, the owl only wakes up to seize the day.” This lyric throws back to Kendrick Lamar’s music video in 2024, showing a caged owl to signify his win over Drake.
Drake appears to reference Lamar in “Make Them Pay” and “Make Them Remember.”
Make Them Pay: “Damn, who is this guy for real/ I guess a magician/ 100 million streams vanished, no one got questions.”
Make Them Remember: “And Muggsy Bogues dunked for once, even I’m a bit amazed.”

LeBron James
But Lamar wasn’t the only one targeted. LeBron James also appears to have been included in that song, referencing both his NBA career and his perceived stance on the Drake-Kendrick Lamar beef.
“I shouldn’t even be shocked to see you in that arena/Because you always made your career off of switchin’ teams up.”

DJ Khaled
In “Make Them Pay,” Drake appears to call out DJ Khaled on his neutrality on anything political. Whether it’s from the 2024 Kendrick Lamar-Drake beef to the Free Palestine movement, Drake is criticizing Khaled’s silence.
“And Khaled, you know what I mean. The beef was fully live, you went halal and got on your deen. And your people are still waitin’ for a Free Palestine.”
J. Cole
Drake also appeared to revisit his strained relationship with J.Cole in “Make Them Pay” and “Make Them Remember.”
“I love you ’cause of the history, but if we being real, I could never forgive ya.”
Drake also seemingly questions Cole’s decision to withdraw after releasing “7 Minute Drill,” his response to Kendrick Lamar’s attacks.
“ F— a big three anyway, there was too many chefs in the kitchen, it was a mess to begin with.”
He also gave a subtle throw that he apparently stands on business compared to Cole.
“Me, I stood ten T’s and accepted the mission/ Cause I’d much rather death than submission.”
He also threw some shade in “Make Them Remember.”
“I could’ve fell back like the married rapper, but we engaged.
A$AP Rocky
A$AP Rocky and Drake’s relationship has been “Burning Bridges” in his new Iceman song.
“Rakim talking sh*t again,” Drizzy mocked A$AP Rocky’s fashion focus.
This follows their drama from 2024-2026, where Drake targeted Rocky on “Family Matters” and “It’s Up.”
But A$AP Rocky is also seemingly dissed in a second song, “Firm Friends,” and Drake couldn’t be any more obvious about it.
“K-Y-S, A-S-A-P, that’s some s–t that you could do for me.”

Jay-Z
It appears Drake did not hold back on Jay-Z either. In “Janice STFU“ with his lyric, “ “We know how you OGs rocking already, my n***a, the jig is up.”
In “Whisper My Name,” he added, “I’ll take $500K, not the dinner, I never could learn s–t from none of y’all.”

Playboi Carti
In Iceman’s “Whisper My Name,” Drake appears to take jabs at Playboi Carti for being a fake friend.
In 2024, Playboi Carti appeared to side with Kendrick Lamar and refused to clear his feature on Drake’s track, “No Face.”
“Baby boy please, I heard what you said to lil bro about me/ Yeah, and when you run into the Iceman, what you gon’ do except freeze/ You not bout to squeeze/ You not in the streets.”
Rick Ross
In his song, “Make Them Pay,” Drake appears to target Rick Ross.
The pair have traded public shots in recent years, specifically because of Ross’ opposition to the Drake-Kendrick Lamar drama.
But their conflict escalated when Drake mentioned Ross on his “Push Ups” track, and Ross responded with “Champagne Moments,” accusing Drake of using ghostwriters and undergoing cosmetic procedures.
“Dog, I was aiding Ross with streams before Adin Ross had ever streamed.”
Drake, the Toronto rapper, seemingly has smoke for everybody.
