What to know

  • Drake’s upcoming Iceman album has fans speculating whether he’ll continue his beef with Kendrick Lamar or move on.

Drake’s Iceman album is coming up, and Torontonians are speculating if he’ll continue dissing Kendrick Lamar or move on.

On Monday, Kendrick Lamar temporarily removed his album GNX and “Not Like Us” from streaming – making Drake fans side-eye the artist for doing so the same week as the Iceman album release.

That leaves some fans wondering if Drake’s new album will be a diss track.

Earlier this morning, one song from the Iceman album got temporarily leaked, making fans even more hyped up for the release on Friday.

“He’s gonna continue the beef from the last album… I assume Kendrick again, but you gotta see who’s hot to keep himself relevant, so I’m sure there’ll be other people that are gonna be picked on,” he told Now Toronto.

To stay in the charts, Lenox believes Drake will stay in the style of dance music or house music.

Another Toronto resident, Ayla H., is excited to see what Drake has in stock, but says she loves his old music more.

Her friend, Danny P., agreed and says he needs to bring it up after all the beef with Kendrick Lamar.

“I know he got a lot of pressure from the Kendrick Lamar beef, so I hope he delivers,” Danny told Now Toronto.
