It looks like some Drake fans have been able to get their hands on what appear to be leaked tracks from the local rapper’s upcoming album, Iceman.
Multiple songs were shared on social media, in various posts across X , YouTube and TikTok. Several users claimed that the songs would feature on the album releasing May 15,
The six songs leaked include a five-minute song “1 AM IN ALBANY,” over three and a half minute song “ASTA LA VISTA,” two-minute song “3 AM IN NEW ORLEANS,” over four minute song “ZETRA SCRO,” three and a half minute song “TWIN SOULS,” and “SUPERMAX,” which runs just under two minutes.
Some lyrics in the songs allegedly included shots at people like LeBron James and Kendrick Lamar.
Some fan speculated the lyrics “I shouldn’t even be shocked to see you in that arena, because you always made your career off of switching teams up,” and “Please stop asking what’s going on with 23 & me, I’m a real n****, and he’s not, it’s in my DNA,” from “1 AM IN ALBANY” referred to LeBron James. While the award-winning rapper and NBA icon may have previously been close friends, they have been rumoured to have fallen out following the infamous Drake and Kendrick feud of 2024.

Speaking of Lamar, Drake may not have spared the California rapper either, with multiple lyrics from the same apparent Iceman song reading “To be the number one, you gotta lead the way, and to hold something over my head forever, you’re still a couple feet away,” and “Talkin’ bout hiding the Bible, maybe y’all should read a page, iced out crosses on they necks thinking Jesus saves, well even if he does, n****, either way, the blasphemy you talk let me know that your amazing grace gon’ be delayed,” among other lyrics in the more than five-minute song.
Throughout the morning of May 14, most of the posts were removed from social media, leaving behind the message “This media has been disabled in response to a report by the copyright owner.”
This comes after many promos leading up to the release date of May 15, including a projection of an ice block on the CN Tower and a live stream on Thursday night of “Episode 4.”

Online reaction
The origin of the leak is unknown, but the songs gained major attention from media outlets and social media users.
Many fans were excited for Drake’s musical return.
“HES BACK?!????” one X user wrote.
“If the album [sounds] like this….drake back,” another X user said.
“Banger,” a Reddit user said.
Along with many excited fans came fans saying the lyrics and beat sound the same as Drake’s past work.
“It’s not bad but it’s like man I heard this before,” one Reddit user said.
Many others on X also said the new leaked songs sounded the same.
“Sounds exactly how I thought it would,” one X user wrote, adding that wasn’t a good sign.
“This sh*t sound exactly like the other leak,” another X user said. “So, washed [up].”
Another fan agreed.
“I’ve heard this Drake song 40 times before,” they wrote on Reddit.
Many fans weren’t sure if the leaks were real, with multiple posts calling out the songs as tracks generated by artificial intelligence (AI).
“I don’t believe any of these ‘leaked tracks’ A.I. too wicked,” another X user said.
Another X user agreed, and said it was very clearly fake.
While some remained hopeful, with one TikTok user saying she was hoping the song wasn’t AI since she liked it so much.
While there’s no official tracklist for Iceman out yet, the album drops at midnight on Friday, May 15, so either way fans will know more very soon.
