Swifties are gearing up for the pop star’s arrival in Toronto where she’ll perform her Eras Tour set six times between Nov. 14 and 23. For those who want to immerse themselves in everything Taylor, ahead of the big shows, we have a guide to Eras-themed activities to check out across the city.

Swift finished the European leg of her tour back in August in London, England, and returned to the stage in Miami on Oct. 18 to kick off a second North American stint which will wrap up the full 18-month, record-breaking run when complete.

In the lead up to her mammoth Toronto schedule, our friends at Destination Toronto have created the ultimate Swiftie-inspired guide featuring some of the city’s most exciting Eras Tour-inspired activities. From vibrant neighbourhoods to walk around, stylish cafes to grab a drink, engaging activities to enjoy solo or with friends and beautiful hotels to rest at, the guide is the ultimate itinerary for Swifties to make the most of their time in Toronto.

We also chatted with some of Swift’s biggest fans in Toronto about all things Taylor and to see how they’re feeling ahead of the anticipated concerts.

Lena Hering, a Toronto based Swiftie heading to the Eras Tour in November, described Kensington Market as the area in the city that reminded her most of Swift’s music.

For other charming neighbourhoods in the city to live your best Taylor-inspired day, Destination Toronto’s guide recommends Koreatown, where you can sip on delicious matcha lattes and nibble on snacks at Ninetails Coffee Bar, or The Annex and Yorkville where you can take your Lover or go solo to Philosopher’s Walk, located behind the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM), University of Toronto’s Trinity College and the Royal Conservatory of Music.

Meanwhile, the Swifites we spoke to were thrilled to learn that Blue Jays Way would be temporarily renamed Taylor Swift Way throughout November in honour of the mega star’s arrival to the 6ix.

“I didn’t know they were actually doing that,” McLachlan said, her voice filled with excitement.

“I think that’s pretty cool,” Hering remarked, while another fan, Reva Chaudhary, commended the move as a fun way to bring together Swifites from across the city.

While you’re checking out the celebratory street downtown, be sure to explore the iconic Rogers Centre, which is home to the Toronto Blue Jays and where the pop star will be performing all of her concerts.

If you’re looking to spend the night nearby, Bisha Hotel Toronto and the Revery Toronto Downtown are examples of some lavish hotels that are a short walk away from the Rogers Centre.

These hotels are ready for Swifites to have an experience of their “Wildest Dreams,” as Bisha has redesigned seven floors to reflect Swift’s different eras and the Revery boasts Old Hollywood charm, perfect for a glam Eras-inspired night’s rest, complete with a luxurious restaurant, Deauville Club.
